Founded in 1994 by Raisa Gareeva, Salom Travel Company is the premier travel agency in Central Asia offering customized tours. Personalized visits to the small workshops of Central Asia’s finest artisans and craftspeople are often a central feature of our tours. Over 25 years of bringing travelers to the region, we have developed deep relationships with craftspeople across Uzbekistan and Central Asia. 

With the recent decline in global travel, many of these artisans have fewer tourists visiting and fewer opportunities to sell abroad. As a result, we decided to curate the work from our favorite workshops—bringing their work to your doorstep until you can return to visit ours.
